Sept. 2009. Due to database connectivity issues, EONS v2 is no longer supported. Please use v1.2 as it now includes an increasing number of new molecular pathways.

EONS v2 is a much more flexible platform than EONS v1.2. In this platform, the user can specify the equations that drive the models, as well as the geometry of the synapse (complex 2D geometry based on real electromicrograph pictures). this platform requires much more advanced modeling experience. See the tutorial for more information.

From a computational standpoint, EONS v2 is a Java Web Start application (platform independent) that is downloadable from a central server; both the user interface and simulation engine run on the client machine.



Requirements:

EONS V2 is a Web Start application and requires a Java virtual machine. We recommend the latest version of Java. Please visit the Java website for more information. Check our Help section for more details.
